Week 10B: Blogging For Business

On my blog, I would like to add in a variety of categories. One being "new trends" being as that many are always looking for the latest trend to help be up to date. "style tips" is another as many know it can be hard to come up with an outfit or we often leave something in the closet because we don't know what will look good with it. "dupes" to help people find alternatives to a particular look. The list goes on when it comes to potential blog categories. These are sure to help the business grow because you can incorporate all of your products into these categories. However, even if they don't buy something having a blog they like you're sure to have followers that like what you do and will share only to be seen by a future customer.

Week 3A: Communication- Business and Consumers

One of the most frustrating times I ever had when trying to purchase a product was just a little over a year ago. I wanted to buy myself a new phone for my birthday, I had gone into the store previously and a worker told me that I could get a better deal if I called and ordered one through the phone. To begin with, it took 30 minutes to actually get on the phone with a representative which was already a long time for me. After that they began to ask me what it was I wanted to do. I then proceeded to tell her I was looking to upgrade my phone but I didn't want to pay more than x amount a month. She then told me to stay on the line to see what she could do. Week 16B: Planning Your Future Strategy & Wrapping up the Class

As we close out this semester to remember I can certainly say I've gained new knowledge form this class!  To begin with, I wanted to take this class because I do plan on starting a business in the future and I know how important it is to use social media effectively to help your business progress. As surprising as it is to many I'm a Gen Z with no social media. For my personal life, I never saw social media as something that was necessary but rather a big distraction for me. However, throughout my college career, I have been reminded of how essential it is to incorporate it into the marketing mix of your business. I don't think I will ever be into using social media for my personal life I can proudly say that I have changed the way I view it. With so many people nowadays making a living off of social media they still have a brand whether the brand is their face or a product/service.
