MVMT uses their social media well, making sure that they stick to the look of their brand and keep it simple.
Facebook seems to be where they get the most traffic, with them being a brand that has consumers from all
around the world I can see why Facebook would be the one with the most followers. When looking at their
Facebook I saw people from all over posting their watch with captions in all different languages. Instagram is the
second most used posting once a day. They provide artsy travel pictures with their product styled as well as
promoting their latest offers.
STEELE is a Fashion-forward brand designed by a vlogger turned model and actress Amanda Steele. The brand
is all about good, top quality materials. They pride themselves on their use of vegan leather that looks and feels
good as well as high-quality silk. The materials help them achieve their sleek design that is meant to help
customers channel their inner model.

STEELE is pretty much only active on Instagram. Despite that, they are able to grow and reach a celebrity level
audience. Due to the fact that the owner herself is an influencer and has connections to other influencers and
celebrities that are able to promote her brand through that person. On Instagram, they are very active in posting
multiple times a day. The content they post includes their pieces styled on a variety of different people in many
different ways.
Laura’s Boutique https://lauras-boutique.com/
Laura’s boutique is a women's clothing store that is both a traditional storefront and an online store. It started off
as her mom’s new and used clothing store. Later on, she started to sell her own clothes in a small section of her
small store. Later taking over the entire store and building a big brand for herself. They now ship worldwide and
are continuously working towards opening more storefronts.

Laura’s boutique is a huge clothing store known to people all over Instagram. It is a brand that has very clearly
established their niche of people who love her (the owner) as well as her brand. I think that has a huge role in
how successful she is. When people are able to connect and relate to the person behind the brand they feel
almost inclined to purchase something at least once. Laura has been able to grow her brand mainly through
Instagram with her friends being her models and also having her clients be her models. She also uses
influencers as a way to promote her brand, giving them free clothes and in return, they promote her brand on
their platform.
Badwood is a streetwear brand that started in 2013 by Natalie Wood. She started off in the special fx makeup
world but after spending some time in Miami she found a love and knowledge for graffiti and street art. Her
Instagram first was just her art but after some time she began to screen print her art onto her clothing. Catching
the eyes of many they began to ask for a piece, that is when her company began. Screen Printing from her
parents' garage 20-year-old Natalie would soon have a brand that is all over the world. Her work has caught the
eye of many including corporations like Forever 21 who have copied her designs. The good part of this is that all
her work is trademarked by law.

Natalie Wood has been able to grow her brand Badwood through the help of her friends who are her walking
billboards and models. One this you will see with this brand is how much support she has and how passionate
she is about her work. Designing all her pieces with no design team and just one employee who helps with
customer service and shipping. Badwood caters to men and women making designs that work with both and
providing a variety of articles of clothing styles.
I chose to analyze brands that are in the fashion world. As someone who is in love with all things fashion, I hope
to one day have my own clothing store. Over time I have noticed a huge correlation between fashion and social
media. That being how important it is to build a presence for your company in a social media space in order to
gain the most traffic to your site or storefront.
With the uprise of social media influencers, I noticed that Instagram was the best platform to use for a clothing
company especially one that caters to a younger audience. With Instagram, it is important to stay active posting
both on your feed and stories. Clothing being something that is mainly visual it is no surprise that it is the best
platform to use for this type of company. Allowing you to replicate the identity of your brand through images that
will showcase your clothing and/or accessories.
