Week 15B: Optimizing Yourself and the Company
The most interesting part for me when it comes to the analytics Facebook provides is the "Your fans, people reached, and people engaged". By providing you with this information it lets you know more or less how you should structure the content you're putting out. For your pages, the audience is 60% male. This allows you to see if that is what your business is aiming towards or if you need to change how you're advertising so that you can flip the 40% female to 60%. Also being able to see where the people who like your page and engage with your page are from. This will tell you if you should open up in another city or if you need to take your business international.
Another super useful tool is post "Reach". This will show you how many people are seeing your post and distinguish between organic reach and paid reach. By separating the two you can see if paying is something that would benefit you and if you're paying is it really worth the price. Reactions, comments, shares, etc. are also displayed on their own graph. Helping you see what types of posts get the most interaction and how your audience interacts with you best. If you're getting more reactions then any other thing you don't want to be posting content where you want detailed feedback or something more then an emoji.
